Leading Australian Training Company Warp Training Australia Launches Two New Traffic Management Training Courses

October 02 22:56 2017

Ascot, Western Australia – Warp Training Australia (WTA), is delighted to announce the launch of two new traffic management courses, the Worksite Traffic Management (WTM) course and a more in-depth Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) course. The courses have been designed from the ground up to provide students with a nationally recognized statement of attainment and Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) accreditation card and certificate.

Details of these courses can be found at https://www.wta.edu.au/courses/

Following extensive research, WTA discovered that many people who had undertaken previous courses provided elsewhere had left the course with more questions than answers and a serious lack of confidence in putting their newfound knowledge into practice. With that in mind, WTA decided to create two new courses with one of the prerequisites being that there was a lot of hands-on and practical application of the knowledge obtained throughout the course. The theory side obviously has to be covered in depth as well, but by including a significant practical element, students would be more engaged, learn more, and gain confidence in putting their new found skills into practice.

“Our team at WTA alongside our new WTM and AWTM trainer Richardo Warren from Metro Traffic Planning have developed a brand new course which has been designed to be very hands-on and as practical as we could possibly make it,” said Jacob Gliddon – CEO of Warp Training Australia.  “Richardo has shown a passion right from the start of our conversations to make our industry safer and more effective by creating WTM’s and AWTM’s that really understand how to do their job in the real world. WTM’s and AWTM’s operating in the real world really need to understand the importance of a robust risk assessment and be able to work within the requirements of the Australia Standards and relevant Code of Practice, in order to ensure that the TMP’s they are preparing or modifying, adequately provide for the safety and efficiency of all stakeholders involved.”
